The title says it all. I was in Budapest in 1999 and 2001. Each time I was there for about 1.5 months on business. I spent many evenings sitting outside the Dom restaurant eating the gulyasleves, eating the bread, sipping on an ice cold pint of Dreher, and chatting with the locals. I have been all over Budapest and Kaposvar and have yet to taste better soup than at Dom Sorozo. It’s a great atmoshere to dine and relax outside when the weather cooperates. Highly recommended!

      Hi Glenn,

Good to hear you’ve had some fantastic times there too. The great staff really made it for me. Budapest is such a great place and I do know one other gem, but this has to be the highlight for me. I hope you get to return soon!

Thanks for checking out the site.

Thank you so much for this tip! We are in Budapest right now, looking for a good place for goulash… We’ll be sure to check this place out!
